3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, administer and improve our coaching, matchmaking, booking and related services
  • To acknowledge and respond to enquiries, applications, bookings and support requests
  • To send service correspondence needed to assess, schedule, administer or deliver the enquiry, application, booking, resource or service you requested
  • To process payments and maintain service and CRM records
  • To send LifeCoachOla newsletters, dating and relationship guidance, service updates, free resources and occasional offers when you have subscribed or where applicable law otherwise permits us to do so
  • To comply with legal obligations

When you submit a LifeCoachOla form or booking, we use the contact details you provide to send the confirmations, scheduling information, service updates and other correspondence necessary to manage that request. This service correspondence is part of handling the request you made.

Newsletter subscription is recorded separately. Where a newsletter sign up or confirmation is required, we will not mark the address as subscribed until that confirmation is completed. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our website and services, including email, calendar, CRM and payment providers

5. Advertising, Analytics and Social Media Technologies

LifeCoachOla uses analytics and advertising technologies to understand website performance, measure advertising, attribute enquiries or purchases to campaigns and, where you have consented, build or use advertising audiences. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are controlled by the cookie preferences available on this website.

Google. Google Analytics is used only after you allow Analytics cookies. If Google Ads conversion measurement, remarketing or other advertising features are configured, advertising storage and advertising-related data are enabled only after you allow Marketing cookies. We use Google Consent Mode signals for analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram). LifeCoachOla uses Meta advertising across Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel is treated as a Marketing technology and does not load until you allow Marketing cookies. The current LifeCoachOla implementation uses limited website events such as page views, content views, leads and checkout starts for campaign measurement. We do not intentionally send dating-profile answers, uploaded photographs, phone numbers, email addresses or other form contents to Meta through the Pixel.

TikTok. LifeCoachOla uses TikTok advertising and TikTok Pixel for advertising measurement, attribution, optimisation and audience functions. TikTok Pixel is treated as a Marketing technology and is not allowed to load until Marketing consent has been granted. The technology may process campaign or click information, timestamps, IP address, browser/device information, cookies or similar identifiers, page metadata and website interaction events. We do not intentionally configure TikTok Pixel to send the contents of private application, coaching, matchmaking or dating-profile forms.

We do not sell personal information to Meta (including Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok or other advertisers. Each platform may process data it receives under its own privacy terms. You can refuse optional tracking by choosing Essential Only, choose individual categories in Cookie Preferences, or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer.

Our use of advertising technologies is separate from the Google Calendar integration described below. Google Calendar/API data is not used for advertising, retargeting or advertising audience creation.

6. Data Protection Measures

LifeCoachOla takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including sensitive information shared through coaching, matchmaking and dating profile services. This may include relationship history, personal circumstances, dating profile details, coaching notes and other information you choose to provide so we can assess, administer or deliver the service you requested.

Personal data is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Access is limited to Ola Laing and authorised LifeCoachOla personnel who need the information to provide or administer the relevant service. Authorised personnel are required to maintain confidentiality and to use personal information only for legitimate LifeCoachOla business purposes.

Data transmitted through the LifeCoachOla website, booking systems and connected services is protected using encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. We use access controls and security procedures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.

Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment providers. LifeCoachOla does not store full payment card details on its own systems.

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfil legitimate business or legal requirements, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@lifecoachola.ie.

7. Google Calendar and Google API Data

LifeCoachOla uses Google Calendar integration to support booking and scheduling functions. When an authorised LifeCoachOla administrator connects a Google account, our application requests only the Google Calendar permissions needed to check availability and manage booking-related calendar events.

The application may access Google Calendar free/busy information and calendar event data so it can check appointment availability and create, update or cancel booking-related events. Google Calendar data is used only to provide these scheduling and booking functions.

LifeCoachOla does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising or retargeting, or use Google user data to develop, improve or train general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Access to the Google Calendar integration is restricted to authorised users. Google OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before storage. Data transmitted between LifeCoachOla and Google is sent over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Short-lived access tokens are used only as required to communicate with Google Calendar APIs.

Google authentication credentials and associated Calendar access are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the connected scheduling service or meet applicable legal requirements. You may revoke LifeCoachOla's Google access through your Google Account permissions. You may also request deletion of associated personal data by emailing info@lifecoachola.ie.

LifeCoachOla's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@lifecoachola.ie. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
